Goals
UI’s roadmap to be a world class university is an integrative and comprehensive approach covering internal strength and global competition analysis. Several crucial stages have been developed as a stepping-stone to leverage internal resources and capabilities throughout the most fundamental strategic actions and objectives. However, global competition in the educational field provides energy and motivation to bring UI’s educational and research quality into world class standards.UI’s general objectives have been composed into several important goals to facilitate coordination and communication. The intermediate objective of UI, as one step to arrive at the position among best world class universities, is by 2012 UI tends to be Asian world class universities. Three main activities will be prepared are electronic university, strengthening link and match between UI and industry, and enforcing global standard educational quality system.
However, in 2011 will complete the program of internationalization by finalizing three clusters of sciences (social and humanism science, technology and information science, and health science). This objective will be supports by three mains activities that will be completed on 2010. These three programs are; implementing resources sharing and world class research, restructuring organization via cyber-campus system, and developing financial engine or venture program.
These stages are designed to bring UI is a world class research and educational university. UI’s commitments is producing the highest qualified graduates, who are able to compete in the global market and respond to its ever growing demands, while also conducting qualified research with international standard.
